Single implants
An implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone, topped with a crown. The bone needs time to heal around the post, so most patients come twice: once to place the implant, and again three to six months later for the final crown.
Some cases need a bone graft or sinus lift first. Your doctor will tell you from your 3D scan, and it will be in your written plan.
All-on-4 full arch
Four implants carry a full fixed bridge of teeth for the upper or lower jaw. On the first trip the implants are placed and you usually leave with fixed temporary teeth. On the second trip, after healing, you get your permanent bridge.
Some patients need six implants instead of four. The doctor decides from your scan.

- The implant brand is an established one, such as Straumann or Nobel Biocare, and it is named in writing
- The surgeon's credentials, and complication insurance for surgical work
- A written warranty on implants and the bridge

Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and some medications affect healing. Tell us about your health honestly on the form; the doctor needs it to plan safely.
